6. Grade School Educational Equipment

  1. Education and Training: Grade School Educational Equipment

Program Goal: Provide educational aids and equipment to primary and secondary schools.

school-2Program Benefit: This program allows Canadians Sharing to improve educational outcomes by supporting at risk students in an environment where 45% of the children are first generation learners from rural families.

Canadians Sharing Locally and Globally has partnered with an Indian charitable non-government organization in Southern India, the Sri Sakthi Amma Health Care Trust which operates The Sri Narayani Vidyalaya School. We provide educational aids to the school to assist underprivileged primary and secondary school students to obtain a better educational experience.  The Sri Narayani Vidyalaya School provides an exceptional quality educational experience for grades 1 to 12 to the local agricultural community.  Approximately 45% of the students in the Sri Narayani Vidyalaya are first generation learners and Canadians Sharings’ support enables DSC_2411students to share their new knowledge with their family, village and community, creating positive change at a community level. Our support is guided by the requirements and recommendations of our students, teachers and the principal.  Educational aids include books, overhead projectors, computers, smart boards, programs and equipment that improve the quality of education and the learning experience for our students.

Here are the opportunities to be involved:

  • Sharing your time with us at special events in your community or in south India;
  • Fundraising Locally or Globally
  • Sharing your skills – computer, writing, artwork…
